Shape & Occurrence Factors of Ore Deposit

Ore body is defined that one or several kinds of ores are formed into structural deposit by Geological effect. The rocks touching the rounding ore body are called wall rock. It is classified into upper and bottom wall rock.(stone crusher plant)

The ore deposit is composed of neighbouring series of ores body. The industrial ore deposit and non-industrial ore deposit are rich.

Shape of Metal Ore Deposit：

1) Nervation. It appears when earthcrust gap is filled up with minerals under hydrotherm effect and gasification effect. Its characteristic is uncertain burying and nonuniform content of useful elements, most of which are longer deeply buried ones.
2) Stratiform structure. Most of them are made by sediment. It has great length and width, stable shape and bury condition, as well as uniform composition and content of useful elements.
3) Block type. The size and ratio of three dimensions in space of this type are equal while its size and shape are irregular which are always showed as lenticular, nest, strain, having no obvious difference boundaries with wall rock. Ferrous ore deposits are always of this type.

Occurrence Factors of Ore Deposit:

1) Trend. The intersection direction of bedding and level of ore deposit.
2) Inclination. The direction where bedding of ore deposit inclines.
3) Angle of inclination. The included angle of bedding and level of ore deposit.

According to different inclining angles, ore deposits are divided into: subhorizontal pitch, flat pitch, pitch, heavy pitch.
