Raymond mill is especially designed and developed for processing various mineral products in the fields of construction, mining, chemical industry, metallurgy and so on. It is mainly suitable for grinding over 280 kinds of non-explosive and non-inflammable materials with humidity below 6% and Mohs hardness below 7, including limestone, quartz, barite, granite, calcite, potash, talcum, potash feldspar, porcelain clay, gypsum, and basalt, etc. Basically speaking, the final particle size can reach between 613 micron and 440 micron, that is, 0.613mm-0.044mm. Besides, under the action of separator, customers can get the required particle sizes in accordance with their actual demands.

Raymond Mill Structure:

Working Principle of Raymond Mill:
Put materials into the main frame's grinding chamber for uniform and continuous grinding. Under the action of the centrifugal force caused by continuous rotating, the roller swings outward and presses closely upon the ring. Then the materials will be carried by the shovel to the space between the roller and ring. When the roller rolls, the materials will be grinded. After being grinded, the materials will be sent to the separator. Then the coarse powder that does not meet the standard will be sent back to the mill for repeated grinding. The fine powder will flow into the product cyclone collector together with airflow and then be discharged from the discharge opening.
The materials may contain moisture to some extent. However, in the grinding chamber, the heat generated under the action of grinding is beneficial for the evaporation of water. As the pipeline joints are not airtight, the external air will be easily sucked in and the circulation air mass increases. Therefore, the increased airflow will be guided to the dust collector after purification so as to make the mill work under negative pressure.
